Winter Lake Camping, High Rock Lake NC

So this weekend I headed out with my buddy Eric to do some Winter Camping next to the lake. I got to the site early Friday after noon and started to get everything set-up. I have the use of a pop up camper and although it is water tight (at least the last time I used it in the rain) I though some extra traps over the sleeping area would help keep a little heat in and stop the rian from finding any holes and get into our sleep areas.
It was cloudly and threatening rain but up until I got there had done nothing.
But nature has a sence of humor, as I was putting up the last tarp to complete the pop up...
it started to rain.... but 10 minutes later I was all done and inside and toasty warm.

Although it rain all day Saturday, it wasnt that cold, but Sunday, the rain stopped and we could build a fire, but MAN, it was cold. I think the high was 38 F.

Even though I didnt have any good light as it was cloudly all the time, I did take some pictures for you guys.

Saturday morning farm raised eggs breakfast....
